Low-code app development platform Mendix has released version 9.23 which includes a machine learning kit (ML kit) to enable low-code machine learning model integration in Mendix apps. Developers can deploy an ML model built using a common ML framework and language into Mendix Studio Pro run-time in a low-code way. The release is public beta and enables faster time-to-market, easier integration and superior performance at a lower cost. There are also several improvements to the user interface, including an overhauled Properties pane that makes it easier to compare settings between different items, improved internationalisation and a smaller installer. The Data grid 2 now has filtering over association and auto-refresh while Google Tag manager support has been added. Mendix said the latest version has a faster client, logic productivity boosters, new capabilities for Data Grid 2, support for Google Tag Manager and improvements to its Developer Portal, Private cloud, Feedback module and Epics. The ML Kit is available in public beta, with details on how to use it in the Mendix documentation.
