AI in Logistics and Smart WMS: How Technology Is Transforming Warehouse Management

Artificial intelligence is finding its place in logistics and warehouse management. But how can AI actually help with day-to-day operations? And how can it be integrated with warehouse management systems and smart hardware? These questions will be answered at the AI in Logistics & Smart WMS conference, taking place on November 13, 2026, in Prague.

When Warehouse Data Starts Providing Answers

How many warehouse operators are currently busy? Which incoming shipments might cause delays? Where could complications arise during order dispatch?

Answering these questions often requires navigating multiple screens, reports, or spreadsheets. However, today’s warehouse management systems can offer much more than simply tracking inventory and stock movements.

By integrating WMS with artificial intelligence, warehouse information can also be accessed using natural language. A warehouse manager can simply ask a question, and an AI assistant will generate an answer based on the available data.

At the conference, we will demonstrate how this type of assistance works in practice. We will focus on operational visibility, employee workloads, and the early identification of potential problems. We will also explore what data AI needs to provide genuinely useful answers.

A Smart Warehouse Is About More Than Software

Efficient warehouse management also depends on the quality and availability of data. Much of this data is generated directly where employees handle goods.

That is why the conference will also focus on technologies for automatic identification and data collection.

We will introduce mobile terminals, barcode and 2D code scanners, RFID, and camera systems. We will also explore wearable devices, such as smart gloves, and voice-picking technologies that allow warehouse workers to operate hands-free.

We will demonstrate how these devices can work together with a warehouse management system to support goods receiving, internal transfers, inventory counting, and order picking.

How Can New Technologies Be Introduced into Existing Operations?

Every warehouse has different processes, requirements, and technical capabilities. Introducing new technologies does not necessarily mean replacing existing systems entirely.

One of the conference topics will be the flexibility of warehouse management solutions and their ability to adapt to specific business needs.

We will present low-code development, system integrations, and the gradual testing of new features through Proof of Concept (POC) projects. We will also discuss WMS implementation and integration with other enterprise applications.

Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate which technologies could make sense for their own operations.

One Morning, Practical Demonstrations, and Opportunities for Discussion

The conference is organized by Creatity and POINT.X. Together, we bring experience in enterprise software development, AI technologies, logistics digitalization, and warehouse hardware.

During the first part of the program, we will demonstrate how warehouse management systems can be integrated with artificial intelligence. We will use the AliceWMS application as a practical example to showcase working with warehouse data and an AI assistant.

The second part will focus on smart warehouse hardware. POINT.X will present technologies for automatic identification and mobile warehouse operations.

Representatives from Siemens / Mendix in Rotterdam will also attend the conference.

The event will conclude with an open discussion and networking session. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss technical requirements and specific challenges in their warehouses.

Join Us for Inspiration. Admission Is Free.

The conference is intended primarily for warehouse and logistics managers, IT managers, and anyone involved in the digital transformation of warehouse operations.
